Barbers Crossing Road HSE in Leicester

We went as a family of 5, we started off with a nachos appetizer which was above average, small complaint, the gave small plates after the nachos were gone. main course, kids had grill cheese with fries, chicken tenders with fries, and fish sandwich with rice pilaf. The kids meals actually tasted good. My wife had Yankee Pot Roast, with Mashed Potatoes and green beans, pot roast was moist, but the meal lacked flavor. I had barbeque chicken, and ribs. with side order of rice pilaf. flavor was good, both meats were overcooked and tough. The rice pilaf I never received. Waitress was nice. The kids meals actually tasted better.

Had a great meal as always. They're great with custom orders and addons. Service was wonderful too (Stephanie).

Used to come here all the time. Haven't been in awhile. The waiter was good. Otherwise, it was disappointing. Fish overcooked. Pasta oily. Place had flies in November.

This place is phenomenal. Barbers Crossing has been around a very long time. I remember well over 40 years ago always eating at Barbers Crossing and never being disappointed. Went with the family for a special occasion and the food was still great, good portions, friendly staff, kind owner and the prices are very reasonable. Now I go here as often as I can, so does my family and friends. 💗

The food was delicious! I had a seafood sauté and the seafood was incredibly fresh! The service was good and the menu has a great variety. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food.

The seafood and Prime rib are the specialty items here can't go wrong with them.

Hadn't been there in awhile but was pleasantly satisfied with great service and tasty food. Server Colleen was super and her co-worker behind the bar worked the room to perfection. Had all sports on the tv's. Rest rooms very clean. Keno available. Would absolutely go here again.

Staff is always pleasant... Prime rib is great... GG Pulp on tap... Decent spirits to choose from if you're going for the hard stuff... Outside patio is good sized for lower phase Covid approved dining... Good menu and specials Try the fried cheesecake, too

Alway`s the best food & good prices not to mention the best waitress/bartender ! Colleen is the what I consider what a waitress should be . She is fast, friendly & courteous. We started going there about 2 years ago and it's her service that keeps us coming back!!!

Lots of seating even for big parties. Steak tips were very tender, prime rib little over cooked but still tender. I didn't like that they charged 5.00 for a side salad. They would not substitute the sides which we didn't get. Most restaurants you can pay a dollar for substitution.

We've been a customer for many years and are never disappointed. The service is excellent, both efficient and friendly. I had the prime rib which was cooked to order. It was tender and tasted great as usual. My husband had the baked seafood platter. He said the was very good but he would've liked a bigger piece of fish and the scallops and shrimp were a little overcooked. We would not hesitate to return.

Large portions, great prices, excellent good. My party of 10 was seated quickly and everyone enjoyed their meals!

We are always satisfied here. Tonight's fish and chips, freshly made cole slaw and their great salad did the trick. Happy again.

Sorry but this was the worst food I've had from a restaurant in years. Way over cooked outside uncooked and slimy inside and sitting in a puddle of oil.And they had the nerve to say it was highly recommended and charge 19.99Uuuuuugggggg

Delicious Maine lobster cooked perfectly

I ordered a prime rib steak and it came out in 5 mins, so I guess they prepped it in microwave. The steak tasted worse than I expected, but overall the atmosphere is fine.

Staff is great.... Food leaves alot to be desired. Lobster bisque with no actual lobster. Burger with no sauce even though you ordered it with maple sauce. Potato skins that looked like they had been microwaved. Idk if I would try it again.

Different but great food packed with flavor

My mom orders the seafood sauté with red clam sauce, always looks delicious tried it tonight definitely not the same. Asked our server if the sauce was correct she stated yes we’ll come to find out they used marinara vs red clam sauce. Was very disappointed your cooks no matter which one is cooking should know your menu and cook consistently!!

Had dinner here with my mother and we both got twin lobsters. Restaurant was immaculate and the food and staff were amazing. Will definitely be back

Been going here for ages, never had a bad meal or service. The BEST prime rib you will ever have. They do everything right. Their lobster choices are amazing! From steamed to lobster pie to lobster mac & cheese. Prices are always reasonable. Don't know why but just don't expect dinner rolls.

Lobster and cheesburg and it was everything we expected. Quick to be seated. Very large place. Lot of televisions with relevant sports displayed throughout. Our server was prompt. Our food was served within reasonable time. The meal itself was cooked perfectly and we left satisfied for the evening.

Good pub overall. Large place for high accommodations. Pretty average pub food. Some menu items shine above others. Wings are pretty sad. Def Frozen with bottled Buffalo sauce. .Wasn't impressed with those.

They've improved service since we last visited, and they've expanded seating (including outdoors) in response to Covid-19. Good was great and we'll definitely put it back on our list of places to stop in future.

Good food good service reasonably priced.

Won't be visiting there again. First time, last time. Poor service to start off the visit which gave me too much time to look closer at the place. Didn't feel comfortable enough to eat there. I'm sure it's fine for the locals who regular, but as a first time guest....nah.

Their menu has a nice selection & their service is consistently friendly & efficient. My favorite is their Fisherman's Platter & veggie kabob. Seafood is so fresh !! Onion rings are mouth watering.

Usually have a great time here but had waitress Stephanie at a bar table rushing us the whole time wanted to just relax it is new year's Eve.. we will never have her as a waitress again will sit outside in the cold before we let her wait on us again
